Only seventeen months and George can apply for citizenship. He does not want to return to England, but how could God possibly want him to stay here and continue with this deception?

It only gets worse when George finally meets Anne, the wedding planner, he fell for her when he saw her and worse yet – he could read the disappointment in her eyes when she met his fiancé. The fiancé wouldn’t be so bad if she wasn’t half his age… or if he was actually in love with her. This job has got to be over soon…

Anne can’t believe God would dangle this man under her nose if He didn’t mean for them to be together. It’s the first man she’s been interested in since her fiancé left… years ago. The fiancé who she supported when he was a starving actor. The fiancé who promptly forgot her when he made it into the big times.

Will Anne be able to forgive George when she finds that he’s not truly the groom? Is she really over the fiancé who deserted her? Is this the path God has laid for them or are they just wishing on stars?

This was a terrific book! I’m not sure what I enjoyed more – the food or the setting! 


What I loved: I loved the wedding planner role – I do in every novel – but Anne’s personality and selflessness really make her the planner to die for. George. There was nothing about him to dislike – he wasn’t perfect but he was trying to be & do what he could in an awkward situation. His personality and impeccable manners just leave me wishing we could meet.


What I didn’t love: The ex. Their scene wasn’t nearly as dramatic as it should have been after all of the build-up. It just didn’t play well with the personality that he had shown up to that point in the book.
