Well, It’s a Book Blogger Anonymous update day.

I’m not sure how I’m doing.

The rules I came up with for myself are:

– I will only ‘purchase’ free books that look like they will interest me in the future
– I will buy only one book for every 5 I remove from my TBR pile
– I will only buy books that are already on my wishlist and are on sale for less than $4.00

I can honestly say that I’ve not bought any books. But I am craving a book. It’s not like I don’t have hundreds in my Nook still to be read – not to mention the books on my shelf or the ones I can get from the eLibrary.

Goodness. I’m starting to think it’s because my birthday is coming up. Maybe I’m just feeling the need to treat myself.

What about you? How is your ban working for you?

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

    My TBR shelf isn't bad. I tend to restrain my self.

    But hey…with your birthday coming you have to cheat! 🙂

    You are so lucky, Juju. Sometimes I'm terrific – but then I just get in this mood. Especially since the Nook. Maybe it's because they're not laying all over the house…

    Good for you! I fell off the wagon a little while ago :o( I just couldn't take it anymore. LOL….oh well, I did good for the whole month of July!

    I've only bought 1 book since I started but I'm getting antsy to buy more. Which is awful since I'm in a reading slump right now.
    Cheating on your birthday doesn't count as cheating,it counts as self bought presents 🙂
