What Celia doesn’t plan to find is a strange Chinese woman whose meddling ways keep throwing her in the path of a handsome, but reserved, forest ranger. But no matter how kind or dependable Silas seems to be, there are some things in Celia’s past that neither of them can escape, and this time, the damage might be too much to mend.

Hott Review:
What an amazing story! I really fell in love with Silas and Celia! They’re both such wonderful people.
I was thoroughly drawn into their lives and laughed and cried with them, I was even angry and mortified for them at times!
Note: Celia was raised in a Christian home for a time and it’s had a large impact on her life. While I wouldn’t categorize this as a “Christian” read, there are some definite Christian feelings and thoughts.
I wasn’t sure how The Matchmaker would play into this series of stories. I like how it was done in Broken Things to Mend though and think that it’ll be easy to have her in all of the books and remain consistent. Though it’ll be great for a new reader to pick any if the books up without a learning curve and read, I’m not sure I’ll be okay missing out on any!
