Review | Cup Verde® 2.0 K-Cup For Keurig

A while back I read an article telling me that the inventor of K-Cups regrets that he ever invented them because they’re not recyclable. While I know that many are working on making them recyclable and there are inserts it just felt icky to me.
Our office Keurig came with one of those inserts but goodness it takes forever to clean!
So when I saw the Cup Verde® 2.0 K-Cup For Keurig Brewers Reusable Coffee Filter offered for review I grabbed it. It couldn’t hurt right?

Hott Review:

What I liked: Unlike the insert that came with my office machine, this insert is the size of the k-cup so I don’t have to take out a holder or anything to get this one to work. Plus, it works wherever I am.
I LOVE being able to choose how strong I want my coffee. Some days I just need more coffee & strong. With the k-cups I can’t just play it by morning but have to plan for how I’m going to feel.
What I didn’t like: It’s still a pain to clean BUT not nearly as bad as the fully screened one. I could actually knock & wipe out most of the grounds and just rinse this one.

    questions – So does this only fit the Verdi machine? Or all machines?
    I have tried others and yeah, wasn’t too impressed.
    And do you know where you can buy them (besides Amazon)?

      This one worked in my Keurig & the Cuisinart. It seems to be the exact size of the k-cup and should work in all machines.
      As far as I know they’re only available on amazon. 🙁
