Nothing Short of Wondrous

amazon ChristianBook BN.com Goodreads
It is 1886, and the government has given the US Cavalry control of Yellowstone. For widowed hotelier Kate Tremaine, the change is a welcome one. She knows every inch of her wilderness home like the back of her hand and wants to see it protected from poachers and vandals.

Refused a guide by Congress, Lieutenant William Prescott must enlist Kate’s aid to help him navigate the sprawling park and track down the troublemakers. But a secret from his past makes him wary of the tender feelings the capable and comely widow raises in him. When her 6-year-old son is kidnapped by a poacher who wants the boy to guide him to the place where the last of the Yellowstone bison congregate, Will and Kate must work together to rescue him, save the bison, and protect the park. In doing so, they may just find that two wounded hearts can share one powerful love when God is in control.

Hott Review of Nothing Short of Wondrous:

I loved reading Will and Kate’s story in Nothing Short of Wondrous! Overcoming a past you regret, or wanting to, is a life changing event. Doing it in a place full of the beauty and wonder of Yellowstone is a miracle.

I really enjoyed the romance and the mystery, especially as it was interwoven with their lives. One of the things I enjoy most about Regina Scott’s books, this one included, is that we take a glimpse into the character. Their REAL day-to-day, not just the mystery or romance at hand. We experience what it was like to be these people, to experience these amazing things, to be immersed in the mystery surrounding them, and yes, to experience the wonder of our God.

Don’t miss your chance to enjoy the wonders of America in this terrific series!

Author Bio:

Regina Scott

Regina Scott started writing novels in the third grade. Thankfully for literature as we know it, she didn’t actually sell her first novel until she had learned a bit more about writing. Since her first Regency romance was published in 1998, her stories have traveled the globe, with translations in many languages including Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese. She is now the author of more than 50 works of warm, witty historical romance.

She and her husband of 30 years reside in Washington State on the way to Mt. Rainier. Regina Scott has driven four in hand, learned to fence, sailed on a tall ship, and dressed as a Regency dandy, all in the name of research, of course.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

Got to look for this one; Yellowstone is on our short list for the near future.
