Mitch sees that hardworking mom next store when he’s remodeling a friend’s house – but what can he do? Sure they’d been friends in high school but could he help out without the town thinking that he’s poaching?
What I liked: It was a sweet romance between a man just finally getting over is deceased wife and a woman who’d been trampled my her estranged husband.
What I didn’t like: Actually, I would have enjoyed this book much more if it were more related to the other two. While the setting and a few of the characters are the same the books in this particular trilogy really don’t seem very connected and it was more like reading a stand-alone in the same setting. This was confusing to me because for several chapters I kept trying to find where the current characters fit into the previous books only to find that they really didn’t.
