What Are Your Quirks?

I never really thought I was odd until I married. Then one day hubby walked into the bathroom while I was cleaning the toilet while wrapped in a towel and laughed at me.

Still, though I thought I was pretty normal. Apparently, that is not so. I was having a conversation with my boss who used me as an example when she was giving a time management seminar and people were shocked by what I accomplish.

Then, a friend was flabbergasted that my children pack their lunches daily and I have them at the bus stop before 7 a.m. Is that really so odd? I just make their sandwiches at night and let them pull their lunches together in the morning – the youngest is 7! She also wondered how I make dinner every night – ummm, the kids help – and attend all of their games – I just go.

However, I still maintain that the women being spoken to were in the minority not the majority. So, I ask you:

What types of things do you do that others may find quirky?

** Many of the books I review are Advance Review Copies. These books are loaned to me for my review. I am in no way compensated for my time nor am I asked to give anything but my honest review.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

Am stopping by to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day!!! And for your quirks? The one for your children….I think you are teaching them lifes' lessons. And sitting down for dinner as a family…Kudos to you. I believe that it should be done more in today's world. That was a mandatory routine in my house when my boys lived home. Shows that you are a dedicated, loving and caring Mom that you are. Now make sure they pamper you today lol.!!

I know, and use, a lot of big words in conversation. People are always asking me how I know all those big words, why I use them, or, sadly, what do they mean. LOL!

    Happy Mother's Day!

Quirky is good. It means you are unique. My husband thinks I'm quirky as well. Apparently I'm full of contradictions.
