Lord Anthony Bridgerton is aware he’ll die before his fortieth birthday so it only makes sense to marry someone who he will never love, he doesn’t want them to go through the pain his mother did when his father died. So he’s chosen the Incomparable of the season as his wife, now he needs only to meet her.
Kate Sheffield knows she’ll never be the beauty her sister is but she’s content to just help her sister find the right man. The one thing she knows is that Viscount Bridgerton isn’t that man. He’s a rake and she’s heard him say he’ll never love his wife. Kate wants more for her younger sister than that.
But how can she stop this farce?
Hott Review:
I believe The Viscount Who Loved Me is the most romantic book I’ve ever read. From beginning to end Anthony and Kate’s relationship is fun, intriguing, and special. It’s also tremendously funny.
There are some fairly graphic intimate scenes but not a lot and they’re generally more romantic in nature.
As far as reading the ‘The Viscount Who Loved Me 2nd epilogue’ though… wait to read it until after reading Romancing Mister Bridgerton. It fits perfectly with this story but gives away too many future details.

Author Bio:
#1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn loves to dispel the myth that smart women don’t read (or write) romance, and in 2001 she did so in grand style, competing on the the game show The Weakest Link and walking away with the $79,000 jackpot. She displayed a decided lack of knowledge about baseball, country music, and plush toys, but she is proud to say that she aced all things British and literary, answered all of her history and geography questions correctly, and knew that there was a Da Vinci long before there was a code.
In 2010, Ms Quinn won her third RITA Award in four years and was the thirteenth author to be inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame. Her books have been translated into twenty-eight languages, and she has been profiled in USA Today and TIME Magazine. Her twenty-third novel, The Sum of All Kisses, was released in late 2013.
