30 Days of Christmas 2012, 20

It’s that time again! It’s time for my 30 reviews of Christmas.
Read my old reviews here: Christmas Books

Hott Synopsis

Anger is not an emotion that should accompany you, especially when you’re on your way to your Grandpa’s to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Yet, Chris’s family doesn’t have the money for the kinds of gifts he wants and nothing has been the same since Grandma died.

There are no little gifts in the tree. No tart apple strudel. No one sitting with Grandpa. No one bringing Chris that feeling he needs for Christmas.

Hott Review

What I liked: I loved this story. It’s just perfect to read as a bedtime story for any age. The love and lessons shown throughout remind us, as they teach our families, about the true meaning of gift-giving.
What I didn’t like: It was too short ;)!! I can’t wait for more.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

Do I get to enter even though I don’t have a Goodreads tour shelf? What is a different tour stop mean so I don’t do something stupid! Anyway, had to enter because I love everything about Christmas, but first and foremost the birth of Jesus. What a incredible review. Thanks for sharing.

Of course you get to enter!
A different tour stop is when you visit another blog that is reviewing the same book but on a different day as part of the tour.
