30 Days of Christmas 2012, 19

It’s that time again! It’s time for my 30 reviews of Christmas.

Hott Synopsis

Cass is so thankful this Thanksgiving. Her life is finally peaceful and she’s finally put away the anger towards her ex – mostly.
Then, with one statement, her oldest, Dani completely ruins Cass’s peaceful holiday.

Dani has accepted her boyfriend’s proposal! They’re planning a pre-Christmas wedding. They’ll be moved to another city by the year.

And, oh yeah… Dad’s coming to walk me down the aisle…

With that – Cass’s organized life becomes chaos.

Hott Review

What I liked: This book was very much like one of Debbie Macomber books in that it uses several different sets of characters and follows several interlocking yet seperate stories into one.
What I didn’t like: It may have just been the formatting of the ARC I obtained but it was very difficult for me to follow this story. I kept confusing the characters.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

Hi! That sounds like a fabulous cook book my daughter would love. She’s the baker in the family. My expertise is cooking. I always make what we call “Moody” (being our last name) Surprise & when I tell my husband we’re having Moody Surprise he never knows what to expect & he loves it. LOL Have a great day. Love your blog. Straight & to the point. hehehe
