She moved away from Kenna Springs to get away from this sort of thing yet, they call and drag her back!
Upon returning from a cruddy blind date, Dixie receives a call from her Uncle Rudd telling her to come home because she’s needed. Then he hangs up without even telling her why. She calls him back only to find that her Aunt Connie might be charged for murder if they don’t do something quickly – or if the police find the body…
I LOVED this book! It was such a cute cozy that – while it showed God’s help and presence – wasn’t a ‘come to Jesus’ book.
I’m still not sure who I liked best! The characters were awesome and the only thing lacking in their race to find the murderer and clear Aunt Connie’s name is a series!
Side Note: I was very sorry to see that the author had passed away. I’m glad that the book was published, though, but am sorry we won’t be seeing more of her work!
