30 Days of Christmas 2012, 14

It’s that time again! It’s time for my 30 reviews of Christmas.
Read my old reviews here: Christmas Books

Hott Synopsis

The accident that almost took her life has changed Angie into a different person. A person whose desires are much more simple. A person her mother doesn’t understand.

When you child doesn’t listen you go for help – in this case Angie’s Uncle Jack – to show them them the light.

Only everyone doesn’t see the light in the same way… Nor do they see Patrick Riordan in the same way.

Hott Review

What I liked: I enjoy Carr’s writing. Though this book didn’t bring a Christmassy feeling it was centered around selfless giving in the Christmas season. It was a quite steamy romance with a cause.
What I didn’t like: It didn’t feel like a Virgin River book to me. While the story was good I didn’t feel as connected to the town as I like to. It would’ve been a great stand-alone.
