‘That Holiday Feeling’ is a compilation of three novellas from three amazing authors.
Silver Bells is a short installment in the Manning series by Debbie Macomber; The Perfect Holiday is from Sherryl Woods; and Under the Christmas Tree by Robyn Carr is installment 7.5 in the Virgin River series. Here is my take:

Barnes and Noble – Amazon– Goodreads

Annie McCarty stops by Virgin River on her way home. Where else can you get a cold beer and plenty of friendship with just a few short visits?

Everyone is shocked soon after her arrival when one of the children pulls a much too young puppy out from under the town’s Christmas tree. They are further struck by the other seven still under the tree. Annie, being a farm girl immediately springs into action – warming the puppies and calling for food and linens. She commandeers the bar’s fireplace for the wriggling little balls of fluff and has the local vet stop by.

Only the vet isn’t the Doc Jensen Annie knows. It’s a much younger, much sexier, much singler (no, that’s not a word) vet. And oh, does Annie wish the old Doc was still around.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed Annie! This was a great addition to the Virgin River series.

Annie was cute. I loved her relationship with her family & really thought the character was believable and sweet. She was hard working, caring, and just afraid of finding a man – and who wouldn’t be after the last one?
