The other night I was reading to Bug when Zany comes in the room and scooches herself in between us.
Grrr. Patience, I’m trying to be patient.
Then she starts talking — jabbering.
“Dear, your brother is reading.”
“You’re not. Jabber. Jabber. Babble. Babble.”
Grrr
“Hon, why don’t you go downstairs and sit with Daddy? He’s playing a game.”
“No. He’s watching tv and told me to come sit with you.”
UGH! I felt just like Charlie Brown after he :kicked: the football.

Oh poor site, my daughter is 4 and we definitely try the 'go to daddy and vice versa'. Not a bad mother, we need our quiet time also 🙂

Marce – I'm glad it's not just me. I just need a few minutes! Esp since now, my oldest doesn't seem to go to sleep & likes to talk when he gets tired. I just don't get that quiet time i used to get.
