Bad Mother!

I get headaches. Very bad headaches that make my temper very short. So occasionally, I’m not as patient as I need to be.

The other night I was reading to Bug when Zany comes in the room and scooches herself in between us.
Grrr. Patience, I’m trying to be patient.
Then she starts talking — jabbering.
“Dear, your brother is reading.”
“You’re not. Jabber. Jabber. Babble. Babble.”
Grrr
“Hon, why don’t you go downstairs and sit with Daddy? He’s playing a game.”
“No. He’s watching tv and told me to come sit with you.”
UGH! I felt just like Charlie Brown after he :kicked: the football.

Am I the only one?

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

Nope. You can't be a Bad Mother b/c I own that title.

After spending the whole day in a room of 30 first graders, I hardly have any patience left for my own kids. 🙁

Oh poor site, my daughter is 4 and we definitely try the 'go to daddy and vice versa'. Not a bad mother, we need our quiet time also 🙂

    Thanks, my friends!

    Joy – 30?!?! AAARRRRHHHH!!! I'd be twitching & in a zombie-like state!

Marce – I'm glad it's not just me. I just need a few minutes! Esp since now, my oldest doesn't seem to go to sleep & likes to talk when he gets tired. I just don't get that quiet time i used to get.
