Vacation

Wow!!
We had a wonderful vacation! I didn’t get as much reading done as usual but the kids are getting older & that’s to be expected. We usually love the beach gettaways but this year decided to try something different.
We went to the Poconos. It was fun – but we’ll not do it again… probably.

The deer were everywhere!!! We saw no less than twenty whenever we ventured out. It was pretty cool. Here are some pics of the sights:

It was rough though, as we pulled into our hometown, Red looked at me and said, ‘Aunt G – you brought us to our real home…’ We’re already planning next year!

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI.     it was lots of fun. very peaceful! even with all of the kids it was still quiet. I loved it!

    I live in Philly and have a SIL that lives in the Poconos and my FIL has a house up there too. It's a great place to get away for a weekend. But I get what you mean when you say you won't do it again.
