This morning as I sat in church I realized exactly how blessed I truly am.
We didn’t have a lot of extra money for gifts this year so there wasn’t much under the tree. Mostly just presents the children handmade and one small gift for each of them from us. It took very little time to open the gifts much it was so much fun to watch each of their faces as they presented their gifts to each other and to us.
Then, as we sat in church, I realized that they each really get what Christmas is all about.
So all I can say today is:
Thank you, God, for giving me such wonderful gifts!
Your post brought tears to my eyes. You and your husband have given your children a gift that is priceless. Especially in today’s society, they will never out grow the present you have given them that wasn’t wrapped in fancy paper but wrapped in love. They know the true meaning of Christmas, family and faith. Kudos!!
