On our way to soccer the other evening, hubby looked at the speedometer and said, ‘I better slow down before I get a ticket.’
Zany responded, ‘We should have brought the puppies.’
‘Why?’
‘If you get pulled over and you have a puppy you’ll only get a warning.’
‘What?’
‘They told us on the bus that if you get pulled over and you have a puppy the police will just give you a warning.’
Hubby replied, ‘that sounds like a good deal’.
Zany indignantly responded, ‘No it’s not – they keep the puppies!’.
