Rebellion

This week was my son’t 13th birthday.

I can’t believe that I’ve been a mom for such a long time.

I can’t believe that I must wear heals to be as tall as him.

I can’t believe how much like me he is…

CJ was talking to his uncle just a few weeks ago and Uncle asked what big plans CJ had for his birthday.

CJ responded, “Well, I’ll be a teenager so I guess it’s time to rebel.”

“Rebel? What are you going to rebel against?”

“I’m not really sure but I heard that teenagers rebel so I’ll need to start soon.”

I’m so glad that CJ plans for everything…

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI.     Happy Birthday to him! They grow up so fast. My older son will be 10 in November and I just can't fathom it!
