Best of My Love

Aiden Mitchell is finally realizing he messed up. Only dating tourists to avoid entanglements seemed like a good idea, and has worked for many years, but now he’s understanding how wrong that was… thanks to a distraught one-night stand.

Shelby Gilmore needs to stop picking losers! She doesn’t want to be the victim her mother was. She can’t live through that again. Her best bet is to find a decent man and learn to be friends with him. Take the dating pressure out of the equation and learn to trust a man.

When Shelby proposes her plan to Aiden he thinks she’s nuts. Until he hears how people talk about him. Maybe a platonic relationship would be good for him. If he can keep it platonic.

Hott Review:

So often I when I read I think, wow, they should go to Fools Gold. Mayor Marsha could fix them right up. Then I remember that Ms. Mallery can’t write all of the books and have a sad moment.

When I picked up Best of My Love I felt just that way too. Both Aiden and Shelby needed Fools Gold, luckily they’re there.

Best of My Love is going on the books as one of my favorite Mallory novels. I think more than anything I loved that Shelby – and Aiden – refused to victims of their past and work hard to overcome their legacy.

I laughed and cried as I read these pages and have to admit… I truly hope we all find a true friend.

Now, I have a question… Do we have to move to Happily, Inc?

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
