When seventeen-year-old Chase sells spots on his brother’s upcoming cattle drive to vacationers and then loses the money there could be only one punishment. Zane, the offended brother and guardian, insists Chase make good on his sales. Great huh? Except Chase has never even gone on the cattle drive!

Phoebe’s life is a complete mess. Mostly because she can’t say no when she sees someone in need. Still, when her best friend, Maya, invites her on a cattle drive to keep her brothers from killing each other Phoebe can’t help but to agree. She obviously needs a break and she can’t help but to see the humor in the situation.

But Phoebe promises herself she’s just along for the ride… not to fix anything.

Hott Review:

I know I’ve said this before but, THIS IS THE BEST BOOK!
What I liked: I really enjoyed Chase, Zane, and Phoebe. Their personalities were so completely different, enchanting, and real I couldn’t help but want to spend every moment with them on this vacation. Kiss Me is a don’t miss Fool’s Gold romance, but I’ll warn you it’s a bit more steamy and graphic than the norm.
What I didn’t like: While yes, this is a Fool’s Gold romance and has Fool’s Gold characters included, it’s not the typical as it’s not centered on Fool’s Gold and it’s people, but instead on the cattle drive participants. (Which include some of our favorites!)

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
