Hott Synopsis

A scandalous young socialite, Tiara Kent, turns up dead sending the team into the bowels of NYC. It wasn’t just that she’d been seen down there recently – it was more that so much of her blood was missing… from the wounds in her neck.

If only, she’d stayed home. If only, she’d not gone alone. If only, she hadn’t been attracted to trouble. If only, she hadn’t hidden this new guy. If only, she hadn’t believed in vampires.

But as the team descends into this mystery Peabody can’t help but wonder if a belief in the undead may be the only thing that saves them from this killer.

Hott Review

I can honestly say that this is the first of the In Death novels that I didn’t love. Not that it was a bad book, no, if it was a stand alone book I’d have enjoyed it but as part of the series, it just doesn’t work.

The characters are actually lacking their usual snarky wit and charm and the plot just didn’t work. Sorry, but this one isn’t on my must keep bookshelf.

  1. Sorry this one wasn’t enjoyable. I do have this series slated, to go towards a challenge I signed up for, because I know how much you like. However, someone hasn’t sent me #1 who said she had a couple on hand lol.
